Megan Swanson
Executive Director
Megan graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Global & Urban Ministry. She has been working with youth for the
past 6 years and has counseling experience with sexually and physically abused children. She is currently living in Rwanda serving at HFL as the Director of the home. She plans on returning to America and pursuing
graduate school where she hopes to obtain a Masters degree in International Social Work with a concentration on children and youth.

Hilliary Anderson
Assistant Director
Hilliary is currently attending Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She will graduate in 2011 with her Bachelors in Elementary Education. She currently serves HFL as the Treasurer and Assistant Director. After school, she hopes to permanently return to Rwanda, serving as the Director and assisting with the children's education.

Chantal Umutesi
Children's Director
Chantal holds a degree in Language as well as Travel Operations. She is the former Children’s Director of Patmos Healing Ministries, the organization Hillary and Megan worked
with during their stay in Kigali, and possesses a heart that desires to love vulnerable children. Chantal is fluent in English and willingly serves as a translator. Since
she was a young girl, she has dreamed about, and felt called to, found an orphanage. She assists with the connection program, keeps records of the children, teaches,
and supervises the home.

Emmanuel Bigirimana “Tonto”
Lead Residential Counselor
Emmanuel serves as HFL's Lead Residential Counselor and is a consistent role model to the boys. His responsibilities are many: including leading activities, teaching English, math, and Kinyarwanda, supervising the home, organizing sports, preaching, helping the children pray, and being available to offer counseling. Emmanuel studied biology and chemistry in secondary school and is a current university student studying accounting, management, and computer technology. After graduating in 2013, he hopes to obtain a Masters Degree in counseling and spend the rest of his life serving vulnerable children.

Dorothy Uzayisengo “Tantine”
Residential Caretaker
Dorothy is a humble, beloved, and self-sacrificing woman of faith who lives full-time at HFL. Her responsibilities include providing meals, maintaining the cleanliness of the home, teaching the children basic life skills such as cleaning and cooking, supervising the home, and helping the boys study. Dorothy says of her future, “I want to be with children wherever I live. I am so happy at HFL because I came to know Jesus here.” She was baptized with the boys in 2009 and continues to regard her vocation as loving children.
